An Apple a Day: A Fake PSA

One day I took a cool picture of an apple, and it reminded me of a Cézanne still life with apples. That got the phrase “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” stuck in my head. So, I created a (very!) fake PSA. It leans toward the macabre, but feels reminiscent of some of the more intense PSA’s from the 90s.

To be clear, I have zero medical credentials, and keepthedoctoraway.org is absolutely not a real website. If it becomes one, it will have nothing to do with me. No one is endorsing this completely fictional campaign for apples. I also do not think apples prevent death but don’t even quote me on that.
